Objective
Be able to import large orders by CSV file and handle separate carts.
This new process will upload the cart in hidden time and allow to work with several active carts.
Process
1. Create a .csv file with the order you wish to place
- Go to the correct area, https://eshop.ntn-snr.com/en/my-account/importcart by clicking on “Import a basket from the profile menu”
- Create the .csv file with all items you want to add to the cart.
The format must be strictly respected. Columns are: Part number/Brand/Quantity.
You can download the "Sample file for your order" to get an example of file in "Import a basket" menu.
- Always save as a .csv file (not Excel)
2. Import the .csv file containing your order
In "Import a basket" menu, click on "Browse" and select your file then click on "Upload":
During the import you will see the message "Your CSV file import is in progress. You will receive an email when the analysis has been completed". You can leave the page and / or Eshop to do something else whilst you are waiting.
You will receive an email when the import is finished.
Once the import is done, if you go to "Import a basket",
you will see a new message "Import is complete”.
You can access your CSV file analysis in Saved Carts page"
In "My saved carts" menu, you find a new saved cart with your import.
You can click to see open your saved cart. You can see the analysis here:
- Reference(s) uploaded successfully --> all items are added automatically into the cart
- Reference(s) not recognised --> this reference does not exist
- Reference(s) with no price --> you can request a quote and contact your ISA if you have the authorization to
- Reference(s) with another BRAND or NO QUANTITY --> you can select the brand or quantity and add the item to your saved cart
4. Check the saved cart
Under the log, you find your saved cart with all items added. You can see same information than main cart:
5. Make cart active
Click on "Make cart active" to define this cart as main cart. The current main cart will be added to the saved carts list.
You can also "Edit" (name or description) or "Delete" the cart
6. Pass order
Go to your cart and pass the order as usual
Expiration date
The carts are removed automatically by the system when they expire, according to the date in the list.
